The best part about having a wedding planner is that the amount you have to worry about come wedding day is slim to none. But, there are a few things that, at the end of the day, the bride and groom will want to do themselves. Whether it's writing a special note to each other or packing up last-minute items for your honeymoon, here are a few things that you'll want to consider when you're just days away from tying the knot.
1. Write a Note to Your Groom
As event planners, there's a laundry list of things we can do for you, but one of the biggest things that the bride should take the reins on? Writing her groom a sweet note. While some write it on the day-of, you may want to consider writing it a couple days prior so it's one less thing that's on your list.
2. Finalize Your Vows
On the same note, be sure you've finalized your vows if you've decided to write your own. You certainly don't want to be stressing about articulating the perfect thought hours before standing at the altar!
3. Finish Last-Minute Packing
Things you want while you're getting ready, your honeymoon essentials... the packing list goes on. While your wedding planner will run out and pick up things you may have forgotten like a spritz of perfume or a toothbrush, be sure to pack essentials that you may not be able to pick up at the corner store.
4. Pick Up Your Rings
Are your rings still at the jeweler or stowed away somewhere safe at home? Make sure to have someone pick them up so you have this very important piece of the wedding puzzle when you're ready to say "I do!"
5. Get Your Marriage License
And even more importantly… your marriage license! Arguably the most essential task is making sure you've stopped by the courthouse for that marriage license. Don't want to be responsible for it? After you've picked it up, pass it off to your planner. We'll make sure it's in-hand as you walk down the aisle!
