2018 came with so many amazing weddings trends, some that are here to stay, and some that we're happy to leave in the past. With the help of a little inspiration from Brides Magazine, we wanted to share Lauren's trends to keep and do away with as we head into the new year. Take a peek below to get filled in!

Trends to Do Away With

Ditch the large bridal parties. More and more people are realizing the expense and strain of being a bridesmaid and truly reserving it to your closest few gal pals is so appreciated.

Say goodbye to the sit down dinner. We see couples wanting to have great meals with lots of options, but are continuing to be open to trying exciting new ways to create that meal. Elaborate stations and interactive meals that are outside of the traditional, formal sit-down style are great ways to showcase a couple's taste and personality.

Trends to Keep

Elegant, sophisticated events are here to stay. Gwyneth Paltrow's ceremony was a perfect example of this—perfectly chic, yet understated. A wedding is a nice reminder that natural elements and understood styling is still alive and well.

Keep the weekend! Continue to make this a special weekend for your guests. Many are still traveling far and wide to join you and celebrate. From welcome dinners and cocktail hours to rehearsal dinners and receptions, the marathon is here to stay.
