If there's one thing you know about us, it's that we love celebrating milestone occasions. Whether it's a wedding, a birthday party, an engagement… the reasons to rejoice and commemorate never seem to stop! Last year, we celebrated a big milestone with our dear friends, the Rineys, when Mary and Scott tied the knot in Miami surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family. About a month later, the party continued when the couple hosted a New Year's Eve bash that will go down in history — a second edition of their wedding reception where hundreds loved ones gathered here in Louisville to ring in 2018. So what was next for the Rineys? Susan's 60th birthday party, of course! And to make matters a bit more exciting, they decided to make it a surprise. Scroll on for details on the surprise that went off without a hitch.
The theme of Susan's bash was crisp, clean, and white with a touch of Parisian flair. With everything from white couches and tablecloths to florals and throw pillows, we really loved pulling together all of these fun details.
A pinch of Paris kicked the glamour up a notch at this summer get-together. Not only did we have an Eiffel Tower out front, but accents were also added to the cocktail napkins, topped our desserts, and more. It doesn't get any cuter than that!
You know we're all about the florals. White roses, orchids, hydrangeas… Our team really outdid themselves when it came to the beautiful centerpieces at her party.
We can always count on Wiltshire Pantry to knock it out of the park when it comes to catering. Guests munched on an array of delectables including Mini Crab Cakes with Red Pepper Remoulade, Sliced Citrus Salads, French Style Chicken Dijon... Is your mouth watering yet? Plus, the delightfulness continued as the party goers sipped on frozen delights like bourbon slushies, frosé, and margaritas.
After they oohed and ahhed over the spread, dessert was in store. And you can't have a birthday party without an epic cake! Susan's was three-tiered, topped with sugar flowers, and finished with a hand-lettered birthday message. We always love to brag on Martine's Pastries a little bit!
Fireworks were the perfect way to end the night. They always seem to make our hearts skip a beat! Happy 60th Birthday Susan!
