Gold or silver flatware? Charger or no charger? Menu? Accessories? When it comes to designing a place setting for your wedding reception, the options are truly endless. If you don't know where to start, then you've come the right place. We're sharing five small touches we like to add to our place settings to give them a bit of a flair.

1. Gilded:

Whether you're going for a feminine feel or just want to do something different from the norm, gold flatware is always a fun addition to an otherwise simple place setting. Afterall, your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime night, so opting for the not-so-standard gold flatware is always a good idea!

2. Square:

Want something crisp and clean, but want to steer clear of the traditional round plate? Swap out classic circular white plates with a square option like this one to add a modern vibe to your reception.

3. Menu:

A circular menu that fits perfectly on a clear and gold charger… Talk about swoon! This custom menu made for a luxurious look at Taylor and Robbie's reception.

4. Accessorize:

When you're not adding a menu to the place setting, it's time to accessorize. This simple white rose placed on top of each napkin made for such a sweet addition and gave the space a polished look.

5. Simplistic:

If you're serving a plated meal but don't want to add a charger to each place setting, go for a simplistic look like this one. Adding easy touches like a small succulent is a great way to give the setting a more put together, complete feel.
